…Says inconsistencies in Atiku’s camp depict lack of basic understanding of fuel sector
The Presidency has chided former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, over his latest comments on petrol subsidy, which it says, raises a fundamental question as to whether he is seriously proposing an economic policy, or he is simply playing politics with the temporary discomfort Nigerians face.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, noted, in a statement, that the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential candidate had made different statements on the issue within one week.
According to him “Nigerians have heard three different explanations of what an Atiku administration would do about petrol subsidy. The confusion has now become impossible to ignore.”
