Russian forces attacked industrial enterprises and an energy facility in Ukraine’s Poltava region overnight on August 27, leaving consumers in seven settlements without electricity.
According to Ukrinform, Vitalii Diakivnych, Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“Overnight, the enemy attacked industrial enterprises in the Kremenchuk district. One of the energy facilities in the Myrhorod district also came under attack. An emergency power outage occurred. Consumers in seven settlements were temporarily left without electricity,” the statement said.
According to Diakivnych, all relevant services are working to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
No information about casualties or injuries has been reported to emergency services.
