Now living in Benidorm, he has retreated from his old life and is attempting to keep a struggling Scottish pub afloat.‌His routine changes when Rosa (Carolina Bécquer), an aspiring actress, starts working behind the bar. Her upbeat personality and enthusiasm begins to bring Dennis out of his shell.‌But things take a more dramatic turn when a series of crimes begins unfolding across the Spanish resort. Rosa sees an opportunity for Dennis to put his investigative skills back to use and pushes him to get involved, despite the local police being less than keen on his interference.Although Dennis may look like a washed-up former detective who has hit rock bottom, there's more to him than meets the eye. Described as a sociable "good time girl", Tiff is searching for a better life but soon becomes caught up in the drama surrounding Dennis and the resort.She appears in the final two episodes, bringing a more personal storyline to the series and offering viewers another glimpse into Dennis's life before Benidorm. Tamzin is best known for playing Mel Owen in EastEnders. She has since starred in New Tricks as DCI Sasha Miller, Red Cap as Sergeant Jo McDonagh and ITV crime thriller The Tower.‌Denise Welch as ZiggyDenise Welch plays Ziggy, one of the holidaymakers caught up in the mystery surrounding Mick, the wealthy man who is found dead on the beach. Ziggy is part of Mick's social circle on Levante Beach and becomes one of the people Dennis and Rosa need to look at as they investigate his death.What initially appears to be a "jellyfish incident" soon raises questions, putting those around Mick under suspicion. Denise is a familiar face on British television, having played Natalie Barnes in Coronation Street and Steph Haydock in Waterloo Road.‌She has also appeared in Hollyoaks as Trish Minniver and is widely recognised as a long-standing panellist on ITV's Loose Women.Alistair McGowan as Vince Starky‌Alistair McGowan plays Vince Starky, another member of Mick's social circle who becomes caught up in the investigation into his death. As Dennis and Rosa examine the events surrounding the incident on Levante Beach, Vince is among the people whose relationships, secrets and possible motives come under scrutiny.Alistair is best known for his impressionist and comedy work, particularly The Alistair McGowan Show, which won a BAFTA. He has also taken on several dramatic roles, including Mr Kenge in the BBC adaptation of Bleak House and Piero de' Medici in Leonardo. Away from television, McGowan has enjoyed a successful West End career, appearing in productions including Cabaret and Little Shop of Horrors.‌Chizzy Akudolu as CazChizzy Akudolu appears as Caz in episode five of Benidorm Is Murder. Caz is the long-suffering wife of Mick, the wealthy holidaymaker whose death on his sunlounger becomes the focus of Dennis and Rosa's investigation.
