A Moscow court has arrested Michael Martens, a journalist for the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), in absentia on charges of "inciting hatred or enmity."
According to Ukrinform, Radio Liberty reported this in an article.
Russia has also placed him on an international wanted list.
The case against Martens was opened after a question he asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky several weeks ago at a press conference in Serbia.
"Can you tell us Europeans what exactly we can do to help you kill more Russians? Russian soldiers, of course," the journalist asked Zelensky at the time.
