HyderabadThe State Government has decided to set up a war room to ensure effective coordination between different departments and agencies for the second edition of the prestigious global investment summit, Invest Telangana, scheduled from December 7.Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju has been directed to nominate a senior officer for supervising the functioning of the war room. A cabinet sub-committee, headed by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, met on Wednesday to review the preparations. Officials concerned were instructed to send invitations without any delay to guests asking them to attend the summit.Attended by Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and D. Sridhar Babu, the meeting resolved to include experts and key officials in the different committees constituted to oversee the successful conduct of the event.A special committee would be constituted to undertake an analysis of the status of the memoranda of understanding signed during the previous edition. The Cabinet panel decided to conduct extensive domestic and international roadshows ahead of the summit to attract investors to choose Telangana as their destination.The Chief Secretary was directed to spend at least an hour every day for reviewing the progress of the summit related works.
