Around 40% of the ₹2.19 lakh crore investments Telangana attracted during World Economic Forum, Davos, in 2024 and 2025, have been operationalised.

The projects are across information technology (services) and industries sectors. Several global capability centres as well as datacentre have since been inaugurated or in advanced stage of implementation. Some are in construction stage. The GCCs and tech facilities of Eclat Health Solutions, Systra, Qcentrio and HCL Tech were operationalised in 2025, while Aragen Life Sciences has operationalised its research and development campus in IDA, Mallapur in November 2025, sources in the State government said.

Expediting pending approvals

Additionally, 34% of the commitments from the two WEF editions are of long-term nature and under process. These predominantly are pumped storage projects as well as renewable energy plants. As the Revanth Reddy-led government nears its half-term mark, it is aggressively expediting pending approvals and allotments for remaining projects, the sources said.

Significant progress in materialising the investments attracted have been made by the State government since the Congress regime assumed power in December 2023, they said. Telangana has also started off on a good note in terms of converting the investments committed during Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025. In the past four months, 14 MoUs were operationalised with ₹30,230 crore investment and 255.97 acres allotted.
