Barclays’ head of capital and leverage management in London has taken on a new role at Zurich Insurance. Liz Padley took up her post as group treasurer in Zurich this August.

Zurich Insurance has named Liz Padley as its new Group Treasury, finews can reveal. Padley assumed the role in Zurich this August. She succeeds Smriti Dahiya, who had been acting as group treasury and capital management since 2022.
Padley most recently served as the head of capital and leverage management at Barclays in London. At Barclays, her capital management role was crucial for the bank’s corporate and investment bank (CIB).
