Zurich Insurance Group is expanding its insurance offering for life sciences companies in Europe. Starting this month, the insurer is rolling out a dedicated solution in nine European markets, including Switzerland, as it seeks to strengthen its position in the region’s mid-market segment.

The new offering will be available in Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, extending Zurich’s established life sciences capabilities from the U.S. to Europe.
The move comes as life sciences companies increasingly expand internationally at earlier stages of development to support clinical trials and global commercialization. As a result, they face growing regulatory complexity as well as more sophisticated operational and supply chain risks.
