ALBAWABA - Ubisoft received backlash after the developer forgot to include the actual game in its Steam release of Heroes of Might & Magic 3. Steam users who shelled out $10 for the rerelease were shocked to learn the install file was only 23.49 KB and received a "dummy executable" error message when they launched the game. A Steam user wrote under the game's reviews, "Well done Ubisoft! I think it's yours WORST premiere yet. Ubisoft literally FORGOT to include the game files. Game itself weights 23,49 KILOBYTES. You only download "Heroes3.exe" file, which will open a cmd.exe window with text "Dummy executable Ensure that you are on the right steam branch"... and that's all. Fans of Heroes of Might & Magic 3 urged Steam users to purchase the game via GOG instead. The HD edition is also available on Steam, but it lacks the necessary expansions and random map generator, which fans have been asking for for a long time.
