Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Developer and publisher CD Projekt Red has announced that a remastered version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming on September 29.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered will be a free upgrade for existing owners of the game. The title is being released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Serie S and X, PC, Nintendo Switch 2 and Blizzard Entertainment's PC platform, Battle.net.
The remastered version will feature a number of visual, performance and gameplay upgrades along with the game's two previous expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.
CD Projekt Red made the announcement Tuesday alongside a trailer during Gamescom, a video game trade show.
Players will get to experience the best-selling and award-winning Witcher 3 with enhanced combat, improved traversal and movement, enhanced monster behaviors, a revamped skill tree and more.
