NuScale Power Corporation (NYSE:SMR), an advanced reactor developer, shares rose in premarket trading Wednesday.
The company announced plans to deploy nuclear-specific AI tools to accelerate engineering and development of its small modular reactor technology.
NuScale Taps Nuclearn And NPX
The company is working with Nuclearn and NPX on the initiative, combining its reactor expertise with Nuclearn’s AtomAssist nuclear AI platform and NPX’s experience in nuclear projects and AI implementation.
The tools aim to help NuScale teams more efficiently find, understand, and apply engineering information, licensing evidence, technical standards, and institutional knowledge.
