ALBAWABA - Massive flash floods killed at least 17 people along the Nepal-Tibet border, the BBC reported, citing the police in Nepal.The flash floods, which occurred on Wednesday, washed away villages and destroyed roads and infrastructure. First responders rushed to the locations of the floods and are conducting searches to rescue people washed away by the floods.At least 12 people have been rescued along the Tibet and Nepal border.Shocking clips that emerged on social media showed huge floods destroying houses, roads and bridges. Nepal Police spokesman Abhi Narayan Kaphle told the BBC that all security agencies are on high alert and are working on rescue operations.Nepal Tourism Board said that at least 384 tourists, including 291 foreigners, are out of contact following the flash floods and mudslides."Our logistics company has seven container trucks there, all staffed by Nepalese employees. We have lost contact with all of them. There is no signal, so we cannot reach anyone," Yee Liang, a Chinese businessman based in Kathmandu, said in a statement on Wednesday.
