House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said prescription drug prices have fallen to their lowest level in more than 60 years, crediting President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans for delivering lower costs for Americans.
Johnson Touts 60-Year Low In Prescription Drug Prices
On Tuesday, in a post on X, Johnson said, "Prescription drug prices are at their LOWEST LEVELS in more than 60 years, thanks to @POTUS and Republicans."
"Americans are seeing lower costs and more money in their pockets," he added.
The Republican leader said the decline represents more than a political promise, calling it a "REAL, POSITIVE result" that "American people deserve.”
