The companies would agree to align prices on outpatient drugs for state Medicaid programs with what they charge in foreign countries

The Trump administration is planning to announce a new round of drug pricing agreements with midsize biotech companies on Monday, according to Reuters, citing Bloomberg News.
Under the voluntary agreements, participating companies would commit to offering discounts on outpatient drugs to state Medicaid programs, bringing the prices those states pay in line with what the companies charge in other countries, according to Reuters.
