Taqa will be delisted from the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange after L'imad completed a 100 per cent acquisition of the utility firm.
L'imad acquired Taqa's remaining shares through its subsidiary Abu Dhabi Power Corporation, following an earlier purchase of 98.12 per cent of the issued share capital.
The Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund is expanding its portfolio, also announcing plans to fully acquire AD Ports Group through its wholly owned subsidiary ADQ.
In May, L'imad joined global investors including Adnoc, BlackRock's GIP and Singapore's Temasek in a $30 billion infrastructure investment consortium across the Gulf and Central Asia.
