The impeachment court, led by Francis Escudero, has decided to overlook past violations of the sub judice rule but will strictly enforce it moving forward, warning all parties involved, including Vice President Sara Duterte.
Escudero emphasized that discussions regarding the merits of the case should only occur within the court and not in public or online, citing Rule 18 of the Senate Impeachment Rules.
