(AP) — New Orleans Saints running back Ty Chandler and tight end Moliki Matavao were placed on season-ending injured reserve on Tuesday with knee injuries that occurred during a 34-0 preseason loss at the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday.A day earlier, the Saints placed defensive back Rejzohn Wright on injured reserve.Chandler and Matavao appeared on track to make the 53-man roster before their injuries.Chandler returned a kickoff 86 yards in New Orleans’ preseason opener and had 12 carries for 45 yards in the preseason.Matavao, a seventh-round draft choice in 2025, had three catches for 34 yards in exhibition play.
