Inszone Insurance Services Acquires Hometown Insurance Center, Strengthening Commercial Lines Presence in Canyonville, Oregon
Inszone Insurance Services, a rapidly growing national provider of commercial, personal, and benefits insurance, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Hometown Insurance Center. This strategic acquisition strengthens Inszone's commercial lines footprint in Oregon, welcoming a respected, community-rooted agency with deep specialty expertise in logging, forestry, and contracting into the Inszone family.
Founded in 1953 in Canyonville, Oregon, and operating today as M&B Gross, LLC, doing business as Hometown Insurance Center, the agency has served the communities of Southern Oregon's Douglas County for more than 70 years. Today the full-service agency offers both personal and commercial coverage, with particular strength in the logging, forestry, trucking, and contracting risks that anchor the region's economy.
When the time came to consider the agency's future, owner Brandi Gross focused less on the transaction than on the people. Gross, who has been part of the agency for nearly three decades and became its owner in 2017, grew up in a logging and trucking family and built much of the commercial book around the industries she knows firsthand. She wanted a partner who would protect her team, preserve the culture the agency had spent decades building, and provide a clear path for transition and retirement.
