Grove Finance just put a very large chip on the table for Centrifuge. The firm acquired 37.8 million CFG tokens to become a strategic stakeholder in the tokenized asset platform’s ecosystem, building on a relationship that already involves more than $1.27B deployed across Centrifuge’s infrastructure.
What Grove is actually buying into
Grove Finance operates within the Sky ecosystem, formerly known as Maker, and has been steadily expanding its footprint in real-world asset tokenization. Centrifuge provides the rails for that expansion: an on-chain platform purpose-built for institutional-grade tokenized assets like treasuries, credit, and structured products.
The $1.27B already flowing through Centrifuge’s systems represents actual capital deployed into tokenized asset pools, making this one of the larger live integrations in the RWA space.
Centrifuge now lists Grove alongside names like BlackRock and Apollo as ecosystem partners.
