Soldiers of the 23rd Separate Assault Regiment “R.U.G” of the National Guard of Ukraine have liberated a forested area in Kharkiv region’s Kupiansk district from Russian forces.

The “R.U.G” regiment reported this on Facebook, publishing footage of the combat operation, according to Ukrinform.

The regiment said that its foreign military personnel cleared an area southwest of Dvorichna and took control of the northern part of the village of Zapadne.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces conducted one offensive operation toward Kurylivka on the Kupiansk axis, over the previous day.
