Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has promoted fixed-income veteran Alain Krief to Global Chief Investment Officer. The firm is also strengthening its equities business with the appointment of former Blackrock portfolio manager Charles Lilford.

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (EdRAM) has promoted Alain Krief to Global Chief Investment Officer, effective August 24, according to a statement issued on Tuesday. Based in Paris, he reports to Christophe Caspar, Global CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management.
Krief brings more than 30 years of experience across sovereign and corporate bond markets. He joined EdRAM as Global Head of Fixed Income in 2019, overseeing a team of 15 investment professionals and €12 billion in assets under management.
