The Coalition of the Willing summit in Kyiv resulted in agreements to supply Ukraine with an unspecified number of missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
Ukrinform reported this, citing President Volodymyr Zelensky, who made the statement during a meeting with Estonian President Alar Karis in Kyiv.
“We received—I won’t say from which country—confirmation of the transfer of several Crotale air defense systems and missiles for them. We also received AIM missiles. These are very important missiles for us; we use them to shoot down enemy missiles. And, to be honest, I also won’t say from which country, but we received some more Patriot missiles. I can’t say how many, but some. We need more,” Zelensky said.
The summit also resulted in announcements of new support packages for Ukraine’s regions.
