Canadian Businesses Move from Legacy ERP to Business Central with Dynamics Square Canada

Canadian organizations across manufacturing, distribution, retail and e-commerce, food and beverage, professional services and other industries are increasingly modernizing legacy ERP environments, with Dynamics Square Canada supporting organizations through upgrades, migrations and implementations involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The company’s Canadian experience includes an Ontario community health centre that moved from Sage 300 to Business Central to address challenges within its existing environment and support more connected business operations. Dynamics Square Canada has also worked on a Microsoft Dynamics modernization project involving an upgrade from Dynamics NAV 2018 to Business Central alongside Dynamics 365 Sales. Together, the projects illustrate different modernization paths for organizations moving from established ERP platforms to a more modern business management environment.

These projects reflect a broader challenge facing growing businesses: legacy ERP environments can become increasingly difficult to adapt as financial, operational and reporting requirements evolve. Organizations may find themselves relying on spreadsheets, duplicate data entry, disconnected applications, manual reporting and legacy customizations that limit visibility and integration.
