12,000 athletes expected for 18th Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship
ABU DHABI: Over 12,000 international athletes are expected to take part in the 18th Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship from Nov. 9 to 21.
Preparations are currently underway, with the organizing committee overseeing registration and accreditation before attention turns to competition, warm-up areas, medical services, crowd management, and security.
Fans can expect expanded activities for families and children, alongside new initiatives and interactive experiences. The Fitness District and other features from previous editions will return with further additions.
Mohamed Salem Al-Dhaheri, vice chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation and chairman of the organizing committee, said preparations are at an advanced stage.
