Ukraine’s High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has ordered former Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Mudra to be held in custody, with the option of release on bail set at UAH 20 million.
The investigating judge announced the decision, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“The motion is partially granted. The preventive measure applied to suspect Iryna Romanivna Mudra shall be detention for a period of 60 days. Bail for Mudra is set at UAH 20 million,” the judge said.
If bail is posted, the former Deputy Head of the Presidential Office will be subject to a number of obligations, including appearing before NABU detectives and SAPO prosecutors whenever summoned; not leaving Kyiv and Kyiv region without permission from a detective or prosecutor; and notifying NABU detectives, the prosecutor or the court of any change of residence.
In addition, if released on bail, she must refrain from communicating with a number of victims and witnesses, as well as other suspects in the criminal proceedings; refrain from visiting any premises owned or used by Budmontazhservis LLC, Filosofiia Development LLC and other entities; surrender her travel documents for safekeeping; and wear an electronic monitoring device.
