A fire broke out at the Afipsky Oil Refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai following a drone attack overnight on Tuesday, August 25.

Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said on social media that drones had attacked the settlement of Afipsky, where the oil refinery is located. The facility has been targeted by drone attacks several times in the past.

“At least 10 private homes were damaged in the settlement of Afipsky. A fire broke out in one of them. A fire also broke out at the oil refinery,” Kondratyev wrote.

According to him, debris fell at Afipskaya railway station. The governor claimed that two people were killed and another two were injured.
