Google’s latest cloud storage price increase is set to reach more existing subscribers across three African countries this week, weeks after the technology giant first announced the adjustment.
Existing Google One subscribers in Nigeria, Egypt and Algeria who pay through Google Play will begin renewing their plans at the higher prices from August 26, according to Google’s official pricing notice.
The same deadline applies to existing annual subscriptions purchased through Apple’s App Store.
The adjustment also affects Pakistan and Turkey, making five markets covered by Google’s latest round of Google One price increases.
New subscribers have already been paying the higher prices since July 27, while existing monthly subscribers who pay through Apple’s App Store began moving to the new rates from August 23.
