Digital bank PalmPay is expanding its youth empowerment programmes as demand grows for digital skills, financial literacy and workplace experience needed to participate in Nigeria’s increasingly technology-driven economy.

The fintech company said its initiatives are aimed at helping young Nigerians develop practical skills and access opportunities that can improve their prospects in the workforce.

The commitment was made by the Managing Director of PalmPay Nigeria, Chika Nwosu, recently, as Nigeria joined countries around the world to mark International Youth Day.

Nwosu stated that Nigeria’s young population represents a significant economic asset, but unlocking its potential will require greater access to skills, knowledge and opportunities.

“Nigeria’s young population is one of its greatest assets, but unlocking its potential requires access to the right skills, knowledge and opportunities,” Nwosu noted.
