The reality star who won the show last year, and her fiancée, Sophie Jones, "grew apart", according to sources.‌Leanne, 30, and Sophie, 33, who had been a couple for more than seven years, were parents to two bins, Harley and Hudson, three. However, while the couple has decided to split, they remain dedicated to co-parenting their two sons.‌According to sources, the split was "amicable" but "very sad". The heartbreaking news comes after Leanne previously stated that she wished to tie the knot with Sophie at Ardross Castle, the Scottish castle where the hit BBC One programme is filmed.‌"We can confirm Leanne and Sophie have separated; their focus continues to be their two beautiful boys," a spokesperson said. Speaking to The Sun, a source commented: "It's a very sad, but amicable split."They grew apart over the years but will continue to co-parent their boys." Speaking last year shortly after her win, Leanne said: "We have got wedding planning to do."‌After Sophie was given the all clear, having battled breast cancer, Leanne told the Mirror last year: "We had wedding planning to look forward to, rather than just doom and gloom."She went on to say: "We joked we could get married in The Traitors ' Castle in the Highlands! But like Sophie, I don't really care as long as there's family and good vibes."We'll definitely invite the Traitors gang, and Claudia [Winkleman], of course! I made friends for life on that show. Soph even has great relationships with their partners."‌During their pregnancy, through IVF, Leanne carried their twins through Sophie's eggs and a sperm donor. The couple fell pregnant on their first try, something they said they were "very lucky" with.Speaking about how she and Sophie met, Leanne previously told Giovanna Fletcher : "We actually met on Instagram, but she was in the army as well, so she was based in Staffordshire."I was based up north in Catterick. We went on a date. It was just meant to be dinner, and I didn't leave for three days. She must have been thinking, "Can you go home? I've got to go to work!‌"I didn't ask either, I just stayed! It's actually quite psychotic, actually! But we knew, we knew pretty soon on." She added that she and Sophie "knew early on" that they were going to be a couple.Leanne went on to reveal that she and Sophie spoke "very early on" about having children, saying: "It's a lesbian thing, you know. They meet a woman, and next thing you know, they've moved in, and they're engaged after a week."It's definitely... That's a stigma, and it's true, and I stand by it!
