A potential acquisition of Hugging Face is being weighed at a valuation of $13 billion or more, Business Insider reports. No deal has been reached, and it is not clear who the potential buyers are.
The startup engaged a bank to help assess inbound acquisition interest. Hugging Face's platform serves as a hub where developers can access and deploy AI models produced by the likes of OpenAI, Anthropic, and Meta $META. The company was last valued at $4.5 billion in a 2023 funding round, according to PitchBook.
