Aug. 24 (UPI) -- The Critics Choice Association announced honorees for the Celebración of Cinema and Television Monday. The special awards for Latino and Hispanic entertainers will be given out Oct. 2 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Obsession star Inde Navarrette will receive the Breakthrough Actress Award - Film. UPI singled out her disturbing performance in its review.

John Leguizamo will receive a Career Achievement Award. He has starred in films from Carlito's Way to The Odyssey, TV's House of Buggin' and The Green Veil, and one-man shows on stage.

The Trailblazer Award goes to Judy Reyes for her body of work. She currently stars on both High Potential and Scrubs.
