Strive (ASST) acquired 1,110 bitcoin for approximately $81.5 million between Aug. 17 and Aug. 21, bringing its total holdings to 21,356 BTC, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The bitcoin was purchased at an average price of $73,409 per coin, inclusive of fees and expenses. The acquisition increased the company's holdings by about 5.5% from 20,246 BTC as of mid-August, the filing shows.

According to Bitcoin Treasuries data, Strive ranks as the seventh-largest public company holding bitcoin. Michael Saylor's Strategy (MSTR) leads the cohort with 840,447 BTC, followed by Twenty One Capital with 43,514 BTC, Metaplanet with 43,000 BTC, MARA with 35,577 BTC, and Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company with 30,021 BTC.

The latest purchase comes as bitcoin treasury companies continue to expand their holdings and adjust how they finance their strategies. Strategy, the largest public corporate bitcoin holder, reported Monday that it sold 18.26 million MSTR shares for about $2 billion between Aug. 17 and Aug. 23 but did not buy or sell bitcoin during the period.
