Third Wave Coffee, a city-based coffee and food firm, has raised Rs 408 crore in a funding round led by existing investor WestBridge Capital while the round also witnessed participation from Creagis and other angel investors.The new funding is expected to fuel Third Wave Coffee’s next phase of expansion, with capital directed towards geographic growth in existing markets, building greater density in high-potential cities and strengthening the brand’s ability to serve a wider range of consumer occasions, as per the company.Third Wave Coffee has accelerated its national footprint by entering Ahmedabad, Mangalore and Agra last year while strengthening its presence across Delhi, NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune. In June 2026, it entered East India with three cafés in Kolkata. The firm is currently evaluating opportunities in other eastern markets, including Guwahati, Ranchi, Patna and Bhubaneswar.Rajat Luthra, CEO, Third Wave Coffee, said the brand currently operated more than 240 cafés across India and were aiming to reach 320 cafes by end FY27.“Over the years, we have built a strong consumer proposition, and our focus remains on scaling the business sustainably, with strong unit economics, healthy store payback operational discipline and a consistent customer experience. This fundraise will help us accelerate our expansion across the country while strengthening new categories, with desserts being an important part of the journey. .
