Home ownership now feels out of reach for the majority of young people in Ireland under the age of 35, with most now considering long-term renting or social housing over buying, according to new research.PTSB’s annual Reflecting Ireland Housing and Homeownership report found 52 per cent of under 35s do not believe they will ever be in a position to buy a home in Ireland. Of that cohort, 61 per cent say they are considering social housing and 55 per cent are looking at long-term renting.We would like to hear the view from readers aged under 35 on this subject.
