MANILA, Philippines — The remains of the 13-year-old boy who drowned at the Baseco Beach last week had been retrieved after seven days of search on Monday, Aug. 24.

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso announced this development, pointing out that the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department “never stopped its search and retrieval operations.”

The boy was reported missing after drowning at Baseco Beach in Port Area on Aug. 16.
