Amravati hospital fire Health Minister says fire audits mandatory, probe to examine lapses
Maharashtra Health Minister Prakash Abitkar said fire audits are mandatory for both government and private hospitals, following the fire that killed three newborns at Amravati District Women’s Hospital. He said a technical investigation will determine the cause of the fire and whether there were lapses in materials, permissions or safety measures, adding that action will be taken against those found responsible.
