Australian data center firm DXN has secured a new contract to deliver its containerized compute pods to a customer.
The company this week announced it has entered into a AU$12.2 million (US$8.7m) binding contract with an unnamed "AI compute operator" to deliver an AI High-Performance Computing (HPC) modular data center.

DXN has been tapped for the design, engineering, manufacture, delivery, installation and commissioning of a 2MW pod. The turnkey contract is for a complete 2MW AI HPC facility, combining new purpose-built DXN modules with the upgrade of existing infrastructure on site.
The customer's site is targeted to be operational in early calendar year 2027. Details on where the pods will be delivered were not shared.
