DXN has been selected by an unnamed neocloud to supply a modular data center.

The awarded contract has a value of AU$8.8 million (US$6.29m) and will see DXN design, engineer, manufacture, and commission an AI HPC modular data center solution for the customer with 1.36MW of capacity.

The data center pod will come with integrated power, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, fire suppression, and building management systems. It will be able to support densities up to 150kW per rack.

According to DXN, manufacturing will begin immediately following the signing of the contract, with fabrication set to take place at DXN's Welshpool, Western Australia, facility, and to be commissioned at the customer site in the US within six months.
