The management of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has assured students that no qualified student will spend an extra year at the institution due to missing results.
The assurance followed reports that about 100 final-year students in the Department of English were at risk of spending an additional year after some of their 300-level results were allegedly not uploaded by two lecturers.
The development sparked reactions on social media, particularly on X, amid concerns that the affected students could be unable to graduate with their colleagues.
However, LASU, in a statement issued on Sunday, said the issue had been resolved after an investigation by the university management.
