Thousands of visitors from Thailand and other countries travel to the city each year.The direct flights are expected to benefit Buddhist pilgrims, tourists and leisure travellers travelling between the two destinations. The new service could also support Bihar’s hospitality, transport and other tourism-related sectors.Thailand remains a popular international destination for Indian travellers. IndiGo currently operates more than 140 flights a week between India and Thailand.The airline connects Bangkok with Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Bhubaneswar.
