Heavy rain engulfed Delhi-NCR on Monday morning, darkening skies by 10:30 am and triggering widespread waterlogging and traffic jams across the region.

The IMD's advisory highlighted that heavy rain with thunderstorms and lightning is likely at isolated places in South East Delhi, East Delhi, Shahdara, Central Delhi, North East Delhi, South Delhi, and New Delhi.
Moderate rain with similar conditions is likely at many places in Central and West Delhi.
Scattered heavy rains are also expected over the next two hours in Ghaziabad, East Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, among other areas.
