The country will send 90 percent of its drone production to Ukraine, says Finnish President Alexander Stubb.Yle News9:14Updated 9:16Ukraine marks its Independence Day on Monday, with Finnish President Alexander Stubb and several other European leaders in Kyiv for commemorative events.The Ukrainian capital is also hosting the so-called 'coalition of the willing', a grouping of dozens of countries supporting Ukraine, including Britain and France.Like other heads of state, Stubb said he was confident that Ukraine would ultimately prevail in its war against Russia and stressed that international support would remain strong.More than a third of the support flowing to Ukraine comes from the EU's northernmost member states.Stubb said he expects Finland and Ukraine to reach an agreement on drone cooperation soon, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky nodded alongside him."Defence cooperation has five different domains: maritime, air, land, cyber and space. I think 90 percent of [Finland's] drone production will go to Ukraine, while ten percent of production will remain in Finland," Stubb said.He described the agreement as mutually beneficial and compared it with the Danish model, under which Denmark directly finances Ukrainian defence industry companies.Stubb's delegation includes seven defence companies.
