Police teams reached the spot and found two damaged vehicles, both bearing Delhi registration numbers.Also read | 2 MLAs among several injured after car crashes into SUV in Delhi“As per the preliminary inquiry, the hatchback was being driven by a 32-year-old resident of Delhi’s Arya Nagar, who was travelling towards ITO from Laxmi Nagar along with his wife and two minor children,” Singh was quoted as saying by a HT report published earlier.Near the PWD office, the car hit the road divider and then crossed the railing. It entered the opposite carriageway and collided with the SUV travelling from ITO towards Laxmi Nagar.2 MLAs among injuredRegarding the occupants of the SUV and their current medical status, the police added: "The Innova was occupied by Anil Jha, sitting MLA from Kirari Vidhan Sabha, and Abhay Patil, MLA from Karnataka. All persons sustained minor injuries and were shifted to LNJP Hospital.
