According to Delhi Police, a Swift car travelling from Laxmi Nagar towards ITO hit the divider, crossed the railing and entered the opposite lane, where it collided with an Innova coming from ITO towards Laxmi Nagar, ANI reported.The Innova was carrying Anil Jha, the sitting MLA from Kirari Vidhan Sabha in Delhi, and Abhay Patil, an MLA from Karnataka.According to Delhi Police, the Swift was being driven by 32-year-old Ashutosh Pandey, who was travelling from Laxmi Nagar towards ITO with his wife and two minor children.Police said a PCR call regarding the accident was received at I.P. Estate police station at around 9:30 pm. When a team reached the spot, it found the Swift and Innova involved in the collision.All those involved in the accident sustained minor injuries and were taken to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital. Police said everyone was in stable condition.Visuals from the spot showed significant damage to the front portion of the Innova following the collision.The Fire Brigade was also called to the site to help remove the damaged vehicles and clear the road, allowing traffic movement to resume.
