MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to affect parts of Northern and Central Luzon on Monday, according to the state weather bureau.
This is based on the 5 a.m. weather forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.
Pagasa specialist Aldczar Aurelio said that Typhoon Saudel and Tropical Depression Gaenary (formerly Neneng) are enhancing the habagat.
Both weather systems are outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).
