MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Education (DepEd) on Monday postponed its nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents due to inclement weather and cancellation of face-to-face classes in several areas.

The drill, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 25, will instead be conducted in the first week of September 2026, DepEd said in a statement.
