The Literacy Integration and Formal Education (LIFE) Foundation has successfully concluded its four-week Teen Leadership Camp 2026, held from July 27 to August 21, 2026, under the theme, “Developing Emotionally Intelligent Leaders.”
The camp brought together teenagers from across Nigeria, as well as international participants from France and Belgium, for an intensive leadership development programme focused on building confidence, character and social responsibility. Participants engaged in workshops on emotional intelligence, public speaking, environmental protection and career exploration.
Beyond the classroom, campers took part in community service projects, different forms of creative artistic expression sessions and team-building activities designed to strengthen collaboration, critical thinking and leadership skills. They also interacted with accomplished business leaders and professionals, and participated in debates that challenged their communication and problem-solving abilities and engaged in meaningful conversations about the importance of art and culture in our society.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Vivian Asibelua, camp coordinator, reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to nurturing a generation of compassionate, emotionally intelligent and purpose-driven leaders equipped to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the wider world.
