VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon, Philippines — A company “fun day” turned bloody after a 46-year-old man allegedly stabbed his 36-year-old brother to death in Dangcagan, Bukidnon, on Saturday afternoon, Aug. 22, police said.

Capt. Larry Malhin, officer in charge of the Dangcagan Municipal Police Station (MPS), said the incident happened at around 5 p.m. inside the Dole Dangcagan Palletizing Compound, a work facility and storage area operated by multinational agricultural company Dole Philippines, Inc.

According to investigators, the compound had hosted a “fun day” activity for employees, which included a drinking session involving the victim and the suspect.

A heated argument broke out between the brothers, leading to a commotion.
