A 43-year-old St Andrew man has been charged with murder following the stabbing death of his brother during an altercation at their home. Charged is Ruel Myles, an electrician of Tobias Road, Kingston 11. His brother, 51-year-old Terrence Myles, a labourer of the same address, died while undergoing treatment at hospital. Reports from the Hunts Bay police are that on Thursday, August 20, the brothers were at home when a dispute developed between them, which escalated into a physical confrontation. The police further report that during the incident, Ruel used a machete to stab Terrence in his back. Terrence was assisted to hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment. Ruel was subsequently taken into custody and charged following a question-and-answer session with investigators. His court date is being finalised.
