DUBAI: Palestinian-Jordanian singer-songwriter Zeyne has wrapped up her run of surprise summer performances, closing out the series with an appearance at the Lowlands Festival in Biddinghuizen, Netherlands, on Aug. 21.
She thanked her fans by taking to Instagram Stories, saying, “I love you (so much). (Thank you) from the bottom of my heart!!! It’s been so lovely finding a home everywhere we go. Excited to come back in two week.”
The intimate summer shows offered fans an early chance to catch the rising artist live ahead of her first European headline tour, which officially kicks off on Sept. 1 at KOKO in London.
Zeyne first announced the additional summer dates in July, describing the concerts as a special run before reembarking on her biggest international tour to date, titled “Awda Tour.” The series followed appearances at Morocco’s Jazzablanca Festival, Switzerland’s Montreux Jazz Festival, Bern’s Gurtenfestival and London’s Mahrajan Festival.
Following her London opener for the “Awda Tour,” Zeyne will perform in Dublin, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Milan, Barcelona and Istanbul through Sept. 18, bringing her genre-blending sound to venues across Europe.
